I’ve got mine angled down over my reading chair and the curve it makes really changes the whole mood of the room. The swivels move smoothly and hold position exactly where I set them, which is more than I can say for cheaper lamps I’ve owned.

The swivel joints are the star here—I’ve got the light arched over my reading chair and angled down at my book, and it hasn’t budged an inch. Took maybe two minutes to set up and it feels solid, not flimsy like other mid-century knockoffs I’ve tried.

I was a little skeptical about how useful the adjustable swivels would be, but they’re surprisingly smooth and let me bend the light exactly over my reading chair. It’s got that classic mid-century look without feeling dated, and the whole thing feels sturdy.
